Our Mission

Rock the Plateau is a non-profit that will create a more connected community through music, a universal and powerful tool for social change, common experiences, cultural diversity, and growth. With our partners, we will organize musical events to enrich the lives of our community members and visitors. These concerts will connect the distinct groups of local residents, transplant residents, semi-annual residents, and visitors to the area in a shared experience. We envision these events as opportunities to showcase our unique community, create jobs and income, and stimulate the local economy. We look to expand beyond the event venue to create webcasts, podcasts, and educational opportunities with the visiting artists. This organization is created exclusively for the charitable, educational purposes under section 501(c0(3) of the IRS code.
